Yets Family Foundation is led by Ethiopian descent living in Atlanta, USA who came to Ethiopia after accepting the Prime Minister, Dr. Abiy Ahmed’s call signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today to support underprivileged technical and vocational trainees with Addis Ababa City Administration Technical Vocational Training and Technology Development Bureau Head, Dr. Muluken Habtu.
The project is being piloted with the support of 15 female trainees, who will be encouraged to create their own jobs after the training.
Beth Edwards, President of the YETS Family Foundation, said the project’s support is not limited to 15 trainees and will benefit many other young trainees in the future.
Addis Ababa Technical Vocational Training and Technology Development Bureau Head, Dr. Muluken Habtu, has signed a project agreement document with the Foundation.
