Beth Edwards was raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia by her loving parents. In 2001, Beth moved to Atlanta, Georgia in search of the “American Dream”. She continued her education earning a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree in International Business. Beth is an Accountant by profession with a decade of successful experience working in a Christian school. She helped develop and run afterschool programs with refugee children in Clarkston, Georgia. Beth is a strong believer in the power of good education. That is part of the reason why she started a non-profit organization. ‘YETS Family Foundation’ focuses on educating young women and men with the goal of helping them to reach their full potential through higher education. The objective is to create educated and skilled women and men in Ethiopia that will help them come out of poverty and ultimately give back to their community. Currently, Beth works as an Accountant at Victory Church.
